Sleep where the wild things are
In December 2025 we opened the doors to something we'd dreamed about since our very first family game drives: a camp of our own. Every stone in the cottages, every beam in the bandas and every path through the acacias was set by hands that know this land — the same family that has guided Oxpecker Tours for over a decade.
The camp sits in the Iringa region on the doorstep of Ruaha National Park — the vast, rugged heart of Tanzania's southern circuit. Stay a night on your way through, or make us your base: game drives, bush walks and cultural visits all leave from the gate, with our own guides and vehicles.

Stay your way
Stone Cottages
Hand-built stone cottages with en-suite bathrooms, netted beds and a porch facing the bush. Cool in the heat of the day, cosy at night.
Thatched Bandas
Traditional bandas raised from local timber and thatch — sleep under craftsmanship you can trace to the surrounding villages.
Classic Camping
Pitch under the acacias on our shaded camping ground. Hot showers, meals from the camp kitchen and the sounds of the wild all night.
